Steve Taub
Steve Taub brings extensive experience in venture capital, having invested in nearly three dozen startups across aerospace, manufacturing technology, robotics, microelectronics, energy and climate, and other markets during his tenure at GE Ventures, In-Q-Tel, and JetBlue Ventures. His track record as an investor includes 8 exits and 3 un-exited "unicorns" valued at over $1 billion.
Prior to his venture capital career, Steve served as Senior Vice President at GE Energy Financial Services, where he screened and helped underwrite over $6 billion in clean energy project finance investments. His expertise in energy was further honed at Cambridge Energy Research Associates (now S&P Global), where he was part of the electric power research team and launched the firm’s first research services focused on technology for the electric power industry. Earlier in his career, Steve worked at the U.S. Department of Energy and gained engineering experience at Northrop Grumman. He holds Master’s degrees in Technology and Policy and Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University.
