Kevin Skillern is Managing Partner and co-founder of Energy Innovation Capital. Kevin overviews EIC’s investment activities and organizational growth. Kevin is active across EIC’s portfolio and currently serves as a board director at Ocean Aero and Moleaer. Kevin is a leader in energy technology investing; his 30-year career has focused on investing and strategy development in the global energy industry. Prior to founding EIC, he led GE’s venture and growth capital investing program in technology companies in the energy industry from 2005 through 2013. Kevin also launched and led a joint $300 million fund with ConocoPhillips and NRG Energy. Kevin’s earlier career focused on the O&G sector, including key roles in 15 private equity and debt investments at GE and 9 years as a strategy consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton. Kevin has an MBA from Stanford University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with Highest Honors from the University of Texas at Austin.
