Andrew Lackner

Andrew Lackner has over 23 years of experience in venture capital, corporate innovation, and product management in energy, AI and IT, and communications. He has a proven track record in evaluating and managing seed and early-stage venture capital investments, successfully supporting startup commercialization with more than 15 positive exits. Andrew is the founding partner of the EIC Rose Rock Seed VC fund and Rose Rock Bridge incubator program. He has closed over 100 venture capital financings in sectors including energy, climate tech, AI, IoT, and enterprise IT.

Previously, Andrew worked with the innovation practice of Accenture to develop innovation accelerator, VC, and venture studio programs. Andrew worked for GE for 9 years where he developed four award-wining energy and industrial technology VC programs resulting in the investment in over 50 startups. This included GE Energy Financial Services VC team, a $300M fund Energy Technology Ventures, the $100M Ecomagination Innovation Challenge, and GE Ventures. Andrew was also a product manager for an analytics and AI company MicroStrategy (NASDAQ: MSTR) and an associate at Columbia Capital, an enterprise IT and communications VC fund with $5B in AUM. Andrew has a M.E.M., B.E. Mechanical Engineering, and B.A. in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College.
