Andreas Lucido
Andreas Lucido is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal in Washington, D.C., and is the national solution leader for the firm’s Federal practice. He specializes in organizational transformation with deep experience in strategic planning, budget and cost management, workforce modeling, performance management, and digital strategy and analytics.
With more than 18 years of experience, Mr. Lucido has led numerous efforts supporting CXOs and staff in multiple defense and civilian organizations.
Mr. Lucido’s notable accomplishments include developing and implementing systematic, data-driven decision tools and models to streamline reporting, reduce cost and improve budgetary functions for agencies within the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security. Through the planning, programming, budgeting and execution process, Mr. Lucido led the strategy and resource allocation modeling for a $6.5 billion organization. Separately, he led an $8 billion multinational organization through an analytics implementation to automate reporting and performance metrics. He also led an organizational transformation for a 2,600-person globally disbursed organization, improving its operating capabilities and management functions.
Most recently, Mr. Lucido led a number of M&A due diligence, integration and corporate performance improvement projects across the government contractor industry. Mr. Lucido has extensive experience building successful public sector lines of business through market strategy, opportunity identification, deal capture and project delivery by integrating commercial and government solutions resulting in client value creation.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Lucido spent 10 years with a large, global professional services firm within its Public Sector practice. Before that, Mr. Lucido served as an Airborne Ranger in the Army’s prestigious 75th Ranger Regiment. During that time, he led the logistics operations for a joint special operation task force, serving multiple combat assignments in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
Mr. Lucido earned an MBA from the University of Illinois and a bachelor's degree in sociology from Northern Illinois University. He is a certified Project Management Professional, Certified Scrum Master and Certified Defense Financial Manager.
